This Thanksgiving, the ACAN Food Pantry is excited to continue our cherished tradition of providing essential supplies to those in need within our community. With your help, we can ensure that every family has the opportunity to celebrate this special holiday with a hearty meal and the comfort of knowing they are not alone.
How You Can Help:
We invite you to contribute in various ways to support our Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway:
1. Monetary Donations
Your financial contributions make a significant impact! Every dollar helps us purchase food and supplies to create Thanksgiving meal packages. Click the button below to donate securely online or come in person November 4th through November 22nd on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between the hours of 10am – 12pm.
2. Food Donations
We welcome non-perishable food items, such as:
- Boxed Items: Macaroni, Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread Mix, Stuffing
- Canned Items: Fruit, Corn, Peas, Cranberry Sauce, Sauerkraut, Milk
- Bag Items: Rice, Flour, Sugar, Gravy Mix
You can drop off your donations at our pantry during our operating hours or email asbury.acan@gmail.com for special arrangements. You can also call the ACAN office at 410.647.7667.
3. Volunteer Your Time
Join us in making the Thanksgiving Giveaway a success! We need volunteers to help with sorting, packing, and distributing food on Monday November 25th and Tuesday, November 26th. . Whether you can spare a few hours or a whole day, your time and effort are invaluable. Call the ACAN office at 410.647.7667 or email your availability to asbury.acan@gmail.com with the subject line of Volunteer for the 2024 Thanksgiving Giveaway to sign-up.
